In-doubted-edly!

Tuesday, May 12th, 2015

Here’s the audio mixer window for the final version of this week’s BCS podcast, a large-cast reading in honor of our 150th episode.

The story is by Bill Powell; featuring the narratorial talents of Michael J DeLuca, Tina Connolly, Bill Powell, and myself. It’s called “The Punctuality Machine, Or, A Steampunk Libretto,” a stage play featuring recitations and spoken songs (!) and two separate choruses (!). Look for it on Thursday!

Farewell

Monday, February 9th, 2015

Melanie Tem. She and Steve Rasnic Tem were the week-long instructors from my year at the Odyssey Workshop 2005; kind, wise, helpful; and Steve Rasnic Tem I bought a story from for BCS and had several great chats at WFC cons, including last November in DC.

Farewell, Melanie Tem, on your journey out into the High Sea on into the West.

Beneath Ceaseless Pies!

Pie, beer, literary adventure fantasy, chemistry, the human heart in conflict with itself, and much much more in my friend and BCS author Fran Wilde’s latest episode of her podcast Cooking The Books, on me and Beneath Ceaseless Skies!

At World Fantasy This Weekend

Saturday, November 1st, 2014

I’m at World Fantasy this weekend, in my locale of Washington DC.

And Thursday of the con is International Stout Day!  (For reals!)  Because I’m local, I can drive to the con and therefore bring beer. And because I’m me, I currently have 24 different stouts in my cellars.

So come to World Fantasy, to hear the interesting panel on medieval technology in fantasy that I’m on with Elaine Isaak aka E.C. Abrose. And celebrate International Stout Day! Cheers!
