Beneath Ceaseless Skies Interviewed

Monday, July 28th, 2008

F/SF writer and blogger Paul Jessup recently interviewed me about my new online fantasy magazine Beneath Ceaseless Skies, asking lots of thorough questions about my vision for the zine and what types of stories I’m interested in. You can read the interview on his blog. It’s great timing because we open to public subs this Friday. Thanks, Paul!

Beneath Ceaseless Skies is Online!

Tuesday, July 15th, 2008

The website for my new online fantasy magazine, Beneath Ceaseless Skies, is now online! Drop by and check out the gorgeous cover art, or read about the magazine, or delve into our Submissions Guidelines, or post on our online forums. We open to public submissions on August 1, so start honing your literary adventure fantasy short stories to send me. :)

I will be at ReaderCon 19 on July 17 and 18, with a stack of glossy fliers of the magazine cover-page. If you see me there, feel free to say hi and ask for one.

Homeless Moon Chapbook is Here

Sunday, July 13th, 2008

My cohorts at The Homeless Moon and I are releasing a chapbook of all-original SF/F stories. It includes pieces by Mike DeLuca, Erin Hoffman, Jay Ridler, Justin Howe, and me. We will have a big stack of them to pass out this weekend at ReaderCon 19. If you can’t make it to the con, or if you’re dying to check it out before then, you can download a PDF copy and/or get info on how to pay postage so we can send you a free copy. There are some great stories in there–I hope you enjoy them.

Summer Marches On

Tuesday, July 1st, 2008

Summer is marching on, and I’m keeping after things as best as I can–fielding rejections and re-submitting, digging into my new editorial commitments, working on all the logistics and paperwork for Beneath Ceaseless Skies, planning for my trip to ReaderCon, and trying to squeeze in some time on my own writing as well. Ah, summer.
