I will be at Capclave, the D.C. area F/SF con, next weekend. I will be giving a reading at 9:30 PM on Friday, and I will be on two panels on Saturday--one about saving the magazines and one about new media. See my Journal for details.

I will be at ReaderCon, north of Boston, in about ten days. There will be a reading for Beneath Ceaseless Skies, featuring authors such as S.C. Butler, Margaret Ronald, and Saladin Ahmed. See my Journal for more information.

03-31-09: Space and Time Issue #107
Issue #107 of Space and Time magazine, which includes my short story "Ebb," is now up on their website's Current Issue listing. It's a character-driven fantasy story with a setting rigorously built on real science. I'm delighted to have it in Space and Time--they are an indie magazine getting a lot of buzz lately. 01-31-09: Beneath Ceaseless Skies in Locus
My literary adventure fantasy magazine Beneath Ceaseless Skies, which started last fall, was reviewed in the January issue of Locus. Ace short-fiction reviewer Rich Horton says the magazine "is off to a promising start." You can read more of his comments on the BCS Online Forums.
