11-15-08: Story Sale to Space and Time
I've sold a short story called "Ebb" to Space and Time magazine. It's a fantasy story with a setting rigorously built on real science, and they are an indie magazine getting a lot of buzz lately. I'm delighted the story has found a home with them.

07-09-08: The Homeless Moon Chapbook
My cohorts at The Homeless Moon and I are releasing a chapbook of all-original SF/F stories. We will have copies this weekend at ReaderCon 19. If you can't make it to the con, you can download a PDF copy or get info on how to pay postage so we can send you one.

06-11-08: Beneath Ceaseless Skies
I'm starting my own fantasy magazine, Beneath Ceaseless Skies. I've always wanted to edit short fiction again, and I've always thought that the world could use a market dedicated to adventure fantasy written with literary flair, so I've started a new online magazine to do just that. 05-07-08: ReaderCon
I will be attending ReaderCon #19 this July, but I will only be there for Thursday night and Friday during the day before I head to an Odyssey alumni workshop. If you see me, please feel free to say hi.

03-20-08: Writers of the Future
My Writers of the Future Finalist story unfortunately did not win one of the top three places. However, the contest administrators have asked to hold the story for possible inclusion in the annual anthology as a Published Finalist.

02-18-08: Writers of the Future Finalist
I have been named one of eight Finalists in the Writers of the Future contest, for the First Quarter of 2008. The stories from the Finalists are passed on to the professional judges who will pick First, Second, and Third Place Winners sometime in March. I like those odds!

02-15-08: Weird Tales Reviews
Weird Tales #347 has been out for a month now, and reviews of my story "Excision" are trickling in from blogging readers and review sites like The Fix. I will be acknowledging several of them soon in my own blog.
